Brooklyn & Tanner || Nauvoo Temple Wedding || Huntsville Wedding Photographer
A few years ago I took Brooklyn's senior portraits. When she contacted me about photographing her destination wedding, I was elated! Brooklyn & Tanner elected to get married in the Nauvoo, Illinois Latter Day Saint Temple (Mormon). I took a few days and drove up to St. Louis, visited my husband's grandma and then I helped the Nock family celebrate!
Brooklyn's modest and simple dress was so gorgeous! I loved the buttons & lace.
Her ring is also gorgeous. I loved the intricate detailing on the side!
Brooklyn got ready with her mom, a la Mamma Mia moment.
Mormon weddings are different, in that you cannot photograph the actual ceremony. Guests wait for the bride & groom to exit after their ceremony and that is where the photos begin!
A lot of Brooklyn & Tanner's family came from Arkansas & Alabama to celebrate with them and support them in their decision to get married for eternity!
When the couple came out it was so joyous! Everyone was cheering & so excited for them!!
Tanner & Brooklyn decided to do a ring ceremony outside of the temple so that those who couldn't go into their ceremony could still take part in their day!
You could really see the love that Tanner & Brooklyn have for each other!
While we did take some ( a lot) of family portraits I have SO many portraits of Brooklyn & Tanner, I NEED to just show you! I'm so excited!
Everyone needs a few portraits of them just looking right into the camera. Look at her bouquet as well! Her mama made it for her!! Brooklyn was just absolutely stunning--even in August humidity & heat!
The temple was so pretty! It had so many details.

Okay, last few images! After we took their portraits Brooklyn & Tanner ate a light lunch with family before leaving for their honeymoon in Jamaica!
