Styled Elopement || Huntsville Wedding Photographer

As many of you know, I am from Utah. When I went out there this January, I was able to put on a styled elopement. I love doing styled shoots because it allows me to hone in my craft. I don't try to pretend these are real weddings, I know that the day that I come to photograph your wedding is going to be full of curve balls. But, I do like to take the time to practice different things. I had lived in Utah my whole life until I was 22 years old, living just 60 minutes from Antelope Island, but I had never been! While there weren't any antelope there, we did see some buffalo,

Let's set the scene: We arrive at Antelope Island. Bright & sunny day, yet fairly chilly. We see some buffalo in the distance.... okay I'm done now.

Danny & Nicolette are a real-life married couple. And they should be models. This seriously made me want to photograph more elopements, though. I've been saying this frequently, but I think it is SO important that you don't invite people to your wedding day just because you feel like you need to! Week after week I see brides exasperated because they haven't had a moment to just BREATHE. And spend time with their new spouse, but if you just invite your cream-of-the-crop best friends & family, you will be able to sit back and relax a bit more.

Nicolette & Danny read each other statements about how they felt about each other. It was perfect, because the sun was setting & WHO DOESN'T like to hear about why their Significant Other Adores them??

I know I probably posted too many photos of Nicolette. BUT HER LASHES ARE ON POINT. Her dress is gorgeous. Her hair is flawless. SHE IS GLOWING. I CAN'T EVEN.

We couldn't just let Nicolette have all the star time. Danny is seriously so hilarious, and such a good sport. Because his wife signed him up to model.

I'mma gonna invade your space if you hire me to be your wedding photographer. Because: WHAAAA? Isn't this photo FIRE?
